ABOUT NICK O MEALLY



Nick O'Meally is a Producer/ Director (shooting pd) with ten years experience in high profile television series' for major broadcasters; BBC, Channel 4, Discovery and  National Geographic. 

In his career as a documentary filmmaker, Nick has developed a strong narrative sense, extensive camera skills and a keen eye for striking visuals.

Not one to shy away from a challenging environment, he’s worked as a shooting director in some extreme locations, including oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and gold mines in Alaska. In addition to Oil, Sweat and Rigs and Gold Rush for Discovery, Nick’s TV credits include Animal Precinct for Animal Planet, Bondi Rescue for Channel 10, Australia, and history films for BBC1’s The One Show.
More recently Nick took a natural step towards creating innovative content for the online environment with clients including Adidas, the BBC, the Mayor’s Fund for London, and Right to Play.

When he's not off shooting abroad, Nick lives with his wife in East London, where he runs his digital production company. He's passionate about photography, cycling, travel, scuba diving and just about anything that gets him outdoors.
